Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment seeks a Civil Enforcement Officer to join the Parking Services team. You will patrol on-street parking areas, pay and display car parks and CPZs, identifying contraventions and issuing PCNs.

The role involves independent and team-based work, using foot, moped or vehicle patrols, CCTV and camera systems. A Full UK driving licence is essential and the shift pattern is 5 over 7, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record where possible.
• Willingness to work 5 over 7 shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical fitness for outdoor patrols in varying weather.
• Experience in parking/CCTV enforcement desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the borough and identify parking/traffic contraventions.
• Enforce restrictions in streets, car parks and CPZs.
• Issue PCNs using handheld devices or reporting systems.
• Monitor and document CCTV-identified contraventions.
• Maintain accurate evidence, records and witness statements.
• Check signs/markings before issuing PCNs.
• Report defects, abandoned vehicles and Blue Badge misuse.
• Attend hearings and provide evidence when required.
