Job summary

Wychavon District Council in Pershore is recruiting a Civil Enforcement Officer to enforce parking regulations across the district. The role is 37 hours per week, on a rota, with a permanent contract and a salary of £29,542 to £32,046 per year.

You will patrol on foot, issue penalty charges, check ticket machines, assist residents, and work across weekends and bank holidays. Applicants should have English and Maths qualifications and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education with English and Maths qualifications.
• Be highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to travel around the district and patrol in all weathers.
• Experience in a similar role or in customer service, retail or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Issue penalty charge notices for contraventions in on-street locations and car parks.
• Patrol the district mainly on foot and move between sites.
• Assist the public in using parking facilities and help maintain traffic flow.
• Work flexibly on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
