Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support general maintenance, groundskeeping, and landscaping across our holiday park in Lowestoft. The role involves hands-on repairs, outdoor upkeep, and safe operation of tools and equipment to ensure guest facilities are welcoming and safe.

You will work outdoors in all weather, perform physical tasks, and contribute to a tidy, well-presented park environment for memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with groundskeeping and general maintenance work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, handyperson, and grounds duties (mowing, strimming, painting, fencing, landscaping, minor repairs).
• Keep outdoor areas tidy, safe and attractive (pruning, litter picking, jet washing, pothole repairs).
• Use job management system to schedule, track and complete owner jobs and fleet repairs.
• Maintain flower beds and planting areas, including weeding and planting new flowers.
• Change gas bottles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure bin bays are clean and tidy.
• Respond to guest enquiries and collaborate with park teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with pitch tidies and moving/siting of holiday homes.
