Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is seeking a dedicated team member for Plymouth. The role involves unloading and loading parcels, sorting to routes, and preparing trailers for drivers while delivering a reliable customer service.

Starting salary is £25,201 per year with progression to £27,561 after 6 months and potential to reach £30,000 per year with overtime. Benefits include a strong pension, generous holiday, medical cover, and uniform and training.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) registered to current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.

Hours: 38 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday to Saturday 00:24 - 08:00

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Plymouth, Roborough, PL6 7BQ

Why this role pays off:

Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Someone with good attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg

• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
