Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Milton Keynes is hiring for a part of our delivery support team. You will unload and load parcels, sort them for correct routes and prepare trailers for drivers, while delivering a friendly, dependable service to customers.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t), good attention to detail, and the ability to lift parcels up to 30kg. Overtime paid and weekend premiums apply.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 30 hours [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday 3pm - 8pm, Saturday 6am - 11am
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Milton Keynes, MK15 8HG

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Someone with good attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
