Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, in Bodmin is hiring a delivery/processing operative with early hours. You'll unload/load parcels, sort them to routes and prepare trailers, delivering a friendly, dependable service.

The role runs Tue-Sat with early start times and overtime opportunities; benefits include a strong pension, generous holiday allowance, medical cover, uniform and training. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 5.5 hours a day. Typical attendance is Tuesday - Saturday - 03:30am - 09:00am, with opportunities for overtime
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cornwall, Callywith Industrial Estate, Bodmin, PL31 2RQ

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours.
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
