Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Cornwall in Bodmin is hiring a part-time Parcelforce Warehouse Sorter to unload/load parcels, sort to correct routes, and prepare trailers for drivers.

Starting salary £25,201 per year with progression to £27,561; up to £30,000 with overtime. Includes pension, holiday, medical cover, uniform and the My Bundle+ benefits.

You need a manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t), strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 30kg, and be a friendly, reliable team player.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your address, with no more than 6 points.
• Good attention to detail is essential to handle parcels accurately.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload / load parcels.
• Sort parcels to the correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers.
• Provide friendly, dependable service to customers and colleagues.

• Saturday, 5.5 hours a day with opportunities for overtime
• Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cornwall, Callywith Industrial Estate, Bodmin, PL31 2RQ

• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours.
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
  • Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
  • Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
