Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Shrewsbury is seeking a Depot Driver to sort parcels, plan efficient delivery routes, and carry out essential vehicle safety checks. You will collect and deliver parcels to homes and businesses, providing a reliable, friendly service every day.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with up to 6 points, and the ability to lift parcels up to 30 kg. This is a permanent, full-time position with overtime opportunities.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 08:00 - 16:00

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Shrewsbury Depot, SY4 4UP

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
