Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of the Royal Mail Group, is recruiting for a 38-hour-per-week delivery role at Shrewsbury Depot. The position offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year, with progression to £27,561 after six months and potential earnings up to £30,000 per year including overtime and weekend premiums.

Three shift patterns are available and overtime is paid.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer-focused.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. There are three shift patterns available for this role and your preference will be discussed at the interview.

• Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00
• Option 2: Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00
• Option 3: Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 07:00 - 17:00

Pay and Benefits

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, based on a 38 hour week & overtime
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Monthly Non-Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
