Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Gloucester is seeking a delivery driver to sort parcels, plan efficient routes, and ensure timely deliveries. The role requires a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) and a focus on friendly customer service.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. We have two shift patterns available for this role which are Monday to Friday - Reserve position and flexibility to work between hours of 07:00 - 18:00 and Monday, Wednesday to Saturday 08:00am to 15:30pm

• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
