Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking a dedicated driver at Bristol to sort parcels, plan routes and deliver to customers. The role is based at Parcelforce Bristol with 38 hours weekly and overtime options. Starting salary is £25,201 per year, rising after 6 months to £27,561 and with potential to reach £30,000 with overtime.

Two shift patterns are available: 07:00-17:00 or 07:30-17:30, with additional attendance. Weekend premiums apply, plus pension, holidays, medical cover, uniform and training.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer focused.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 Hours Standard with Additional 2 - 3 Hours Schedule attendance a day. hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday & Wednesday to Saturday. There are two shift patterns available for this role. Option 1: 07:00 - 17:00 & Option 2: 07:30 - 17:30, with up to two hours of scheduled attendance per day. Your preference will be discussed at interview.

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours

Paid weekday and weekend overtime

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)

What you'll be doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it's a birthday gift or important business mail

What we're looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who's friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
