Job summary

Nexus People is hiring Parcel Sorters for a site near Leicester (Lutterworth). No previous experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This full-time role offers 4 on, 4 off shifts (days and nights), with training provided and opportunities for overtime.

This is a temporary role with potential to go permanent after 13 weeks. Applicants must be able to travel to the site, commit to full-time shifts, and have a good level of English.

Qualifications

• No experience is required for this role, training is provided.
• MHE experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels across inbound and outbound areas.
• Load and unload parcels as needed.
• Use hand scanners and equipment (training provided).
• Operate pump trucks and pull cages.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
• Work with the team to hit daily targets.

Job Title: Parcel Sorter- loading, unloading and sorting parcels

Location: 24miles from Leicester city centre

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off - Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 18:00 and 20:00 - 07:00) - working 5 out of 7 days (flexibility required)

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 13 weeks)

Pay Rate: £12.71 to £13.40 p/h

Experience: None required, though MHE experience would be preferable

Full-time working only - due to requirements we are unable to accept Student applications

About the Role

We are looking for Parcel Sorters working in Sortation to join our teamin Lutterworth. You don't need previous experience – just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-player mindset. This is a very sought after role, and we are specifically looking for people who can work full time - unfortunately, this does mean that we cannot accept applications from students.

IMPORTANT :

You must be able to commit to full time shifts, travel to the site for your shifts and have a good grasp of the English language.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sorting Parcels across both inbound and outbound departments
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Using hand scanners and other equipment (full training provided)
• Operating pump trucks and pulling cages
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Working with your team to hit daily targets

You should be:

• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
• Able to commit to full time shifts
• Able to travel to and from site foryour shifts (please check the location
