Job summary

Nexus People is seeking Parcel Sorters for our Lutterworth site. You will sort parcels, load and unload, and operate scanners with full training provided. This full-time role is open to motivated individuals with a team mindset and a willingness to learn.

We offer weekly pay, on-the-job training, a friendly team, and a safe working environment. A strong English grasp and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; full-time only, student applications not accepted.
• MHE experience preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort Parcels across inbound and outbound departments.
• Load and unload parcels.
• Use hand scanners and other equipment (full training provided).
• Operate pump trucks and pull cages.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized.
• Work with the team to hit daily targets.

Job description

Job Title: Parcel Sorter- loading, unloading and sorting parcels

Location: Lutterworth

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off - Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 18:00 and 20:00 - 07:00) - working 5 out of 7 days (flexibility required)

Full-time working only - due to requirements we are unable to accept Student applications

Pay Rate: £12.71 to £13.40 p/h

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 13 weeks)

Experience: None required, though MHE experience would be preferable

About the Role

We are looking for Parcel Sorters working in Sortation to join our team in Lutterworth. You don’t need previous experience – just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-player mindset. This is a very sought after role, and we are specifically looking for people who can work full time - unfortunately, this does mean that we cannot accept applications from students.

IMPORTANT : You must be able to commit to full time shifts, travel to the site for your shifts and have a good grasp of the English language.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting Parcels across both inbound and outbound departments
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Using hand scanners and other equipment (full training provided)
• Operating pump trucks and pulling cages
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Working with your team to hit daily targets

You should be:

• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
• Able to commit to full time shifts
