Job summary

Nexus People is hiring for a Warehouse Operative in Lutterworth. You will join a busy sorting operation, loading and unloading parcels, and working to daily targets with a team. Training is provided and full-time shifts are available.

We value a positive attitude and reliability, with English language skills important for site communications and safety. Travel to the site is required for shifts.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; MHE experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel to site for shifts.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels across inbound and outbound.
• Load and unload parcels.
• Use hand scanners and equipment; full training provided.
• Operate pump trucks and pull cages.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.

Job description

Job Title:Warehouse Operative- loading, unloading and sorting parcels

Location:Lutterworth

Working Hours:4 on 4 off - Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 18:00 and 20:00 - 07:00) - working 5 out of 7 days (flexibility required)

Full-time working only - due to requirements we are unable to accept Student applications

Pay Rate:£12.71 to £13.40 p/h

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 13 weeks)

Experience: None required, though MHE experience would be preferable

About the Role

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives working in Sortation to join our teamin Lutterworth. You don't need previous experience - just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-player mindset. This is a very sought after role,and we are specifically looking for people who can work full time - unfortunately, this does mean that we cannot accept applications from students.

IMPORTANT

You must be able to commit to full time shifts,travel to the site for your shifts and have a good grasp of the English language.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sorting Parcels across both inbound and outbound departments
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Using hand scanners and other equipment (full training provided)
• Operating pump trucks and pulling cages
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Working with your team to hit daily targets

You should be:

• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
• Able to commit to full time shifts
