Job summary

Nexus People is hiring Parcel Sorters near Rugby to join our team in a busy sortation environment. You will sort parcels, load and unload, and operate handheld scanners with full training provided. This is a full-time role with 4 on/4 off day and night shifts and a temp-to-perm progression after 13 weeks.

No prior experience is required, though MHE experience is preferable. You must be able to commute to site, read and speak English well, and work as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; attitude and willingness to learn matter.
• MHE experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels across inbound and outbound departments.
• Loading and unloading parcels.
• Using hand scanners and other equipment (training provided).
• Operating pump trucks and pulling cages.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Working with the team to hit daily targets.

Job Title:Parcel Sorter- loading, unloading and sorting parcels

Location: 7miles fromRugby

Working Hours:4 on 4 off - Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 18:00 and 20:00 - 07:00) - working 5 out of 7 days (flexibility required)

Full-time working only - due to requirements we are unable to accept Student applications

Pay Rate:£12.71 to £13.40 p/h

Contract Type: Temp to Perm (after 13 weeks)

Experience: None required, though MHE experience would be preferable

About the Role

We are looking for Parcel Sorters working in Sortation to join our teamin Lutterworth. You don't need previous experience - just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-player mindset. This is a very sought after role,and we are specifically looking for people who can work full time - unfortunately, this does mean that we cannot accept applications from students.

IMPORTANT : You must be able to commit to full time shifts,travel to the site for your shifts and have a good grasp of the English language.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sorting Parcels across both inbound and outbound departments
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Using hand scanners and other equipment (full training provided)
• Operating pump trucks and pulling cages
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Working with your team to hit daily targets

You should be:

• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
• Able to commit to full time shifts
• Able to travel to and from site foryour shifts (please check the location)
