Job summary

Royal Mail Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Parcel Delivery Driver for a fixed-term 6-month contract at the Rotherham Delivery Office. The role is 30 hours per week, with shifts 14:00–20:00, including Saturdays and Sundays on a rota.

You will prep your van, use route-planning technology, and deliver parcels across your assigned area while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.

Job type: Fixed Term contract (6 months)

Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 14:00 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
