Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The role involves paraplanning for two advisors, learning the business, and gradually taking on client-facing responsibilities.

This well-established, independent, and directly authorised firm is committed to internal talent development, offering a clear career pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and intends to pass the business and clients to the adviser team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client service
  • Supporting financial advisors in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Working closely with the administrator
  • General administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a background in paraplanning or as a junior adviser, hold DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualifications, and be willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should aspire to achieve chartered status and enjoy working within a supportive, busy team.
