Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique, financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, and gradually take on client responsibilities.

This well-established independent, directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within, offering development pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as one partner plans to retire in a few years.

The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  • Supporting a financial advisor in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Working closely with the administrator
  • General administration duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning/junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should also aim for chartered status and enjoy being part of a supportive, busy team.
