Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. Our client is looking for someone to paraplane for 2 advisors, learn the business, and understand their processes. During this time, you will meet clients, gradually take on advising responsibilities, and be entrusted with some client portfolios to build.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within and offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is also potential for a succession plan, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and intends to transfer the business and clients to the adviser team.

The duties will include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding new clients and supporting in servicing existing clients
• Supporting financial advisors in client meetings
• Sending out letters of authority
• Liaising with product providers
• Working closely with the administrator
• Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning/junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualifications, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. The candidate should also aspire to work towards chartered status and enjoy being part of a supportive and busy team.
