Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advising responsibilities and client book management.

This well-established independent, directly authorised firm offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. It presents an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as one partner plans to retire in a few years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients
  • Assisting a financial advisor in client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Collaborating with the administrator
  • General administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform dual paraplanning/junior adviser roles until fully integrated within the firm. They should also aim to achieve chartered status and enjoy working within a supportive, busy team.
