Job summary

IDEX Consulting is seeking a Paraplanner to join the team in Blackpool. The role involves paraplanning support for Planners, researching client scenarios, and preparing suitability reports to back up financial recommendations.

You will handle onboarding paperwork, arrange meetings, and act as a first point of contact for clients while maintaining compliance and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Paraplanner or Trainee Paraplanner role.
• Commitment to achieve RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning within a reasonable timeframe, with subsequent commitment to Advanced Diploma and Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Undertake paraplanning activity for the Planners on the team and in exceptional circumstances support the wider paraplanning team.
• Conduct research to enable suitable solutions meeting clients' needs and objectives.
• Prepare suitability reports and letters to support planners' recommendations.
• Prepare and submit new account paperwork for client onboarding.
• Arrange client meetings, valuations and manage Wealth Planners' diaries.
• Be the first contact point for clients and escalate complex queries to the Planner.
