Job summary

IDEX Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Paraplanner/Associate Financial Planner to support advisers, nurture client relationships, and deliver holistic financial planning. You will prepare agendas, attend meetings, and produce detailed reports to guide decisions.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, cashflow modelling, and the ability to work independently. A level 6 qualification is desirable, and the position offers a salary up to £50,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Paraplanner or Associate Financial Planner.
• Strong financial planning and cashflow modelling ability; Voyant experience beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to own and prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
• Interest in long-term career in financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support to the Financial Planner before, during and after client meetings.
• Manage client relationships between annual planning meetings with excellent service.
• Prepare thoroughly for client meetings and draft agendas.
• Attend client meetings and provide detailed notes and input.
• Produce meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
• Prepare Suitability Reports and Investment Progress Reports.
• Maintain client records and cashflow information.
• Deal with client queries when Adviser not required.
• Maintain holistic understanding of each client's circumstances.
