Job summary

IDEX Consulting in Chester is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to support Financial Advisors in delivering high-quality financial planning services. You will conduct analyses, gather client data, and model scenarios using planning software to prepare investment proposals and reports.

The role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory awareness, and accuracy, with hybrid working and a focus on staying current with market trends and products. A CII L4 diploma or near completion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally a CII L4 diploma or near completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Proficiency in financial planning software and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of financial markets, products and investment strategies.
• Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements in financial services.
• Prior experience in a similar paraplanning role is preferred.
• Genovo and/or Intelliflo Office experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assist in developing financial plans.
• Gather and organize client financial information (income, expenses, assets, liabilities).
• Model scenarios using financial planning software.
• Prepare and review investment proposals and client reports.
• Collaborate with Advisors to implement customized strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes.
• Research financial products and investment opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
