Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Pallet Network Driver for Southampton/Eastleigh. The role is temp-to-perm or permanent with overtime, immediate start, and 7am start times. You will perform multi-drop pallet deliveries and maintain strict safety and paperwork standards.

Applicants should have 1+ year HGV experience, CPC, tachograph card, and own sat nav. Salary is from £16.50-£18.00+ per hour with weekly pay. Flexible availability and full-time hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Clean licence with ≤6 points.
• Must hold CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 licence essential.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV driving experience.
• Experience with pallet networks preferred.
• Must have own sat nav.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 within pallet network.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and palletised goods.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Accurate delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Provide excellent customer service on delivery.
• Vehicle checks before/after shifts; report issues.
• Work to deliver within tight timeframes.
• Assist with heavy lifting when needed.
• Communicate with operations and customers.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

The Job- Pallet Network Driver Category 2 Driver

• Safely drive and operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles within the pallet network
• Complete multi-drop deliveries
• Handle and deliver palletised goods, ensuring items are transported securely
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations during operationsEnsure accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and digital records
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects or maintenance issues
• Work efficiently to meet delivery timeframes in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods when required
• Maintain good communication with the operations team and customers
• Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures

Skills and Experience Required- Pallet Network Driver Category 2 Driver

• Clean Licence (No more than 6 points permitted)
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• HGV2, LGV2, Class 2 Licence (Required)
• At least 1 years’ experience as an HGV driver is essential, with a willingness to multi-drop and handle heavy lifting
• Experience with pallet networks
• Must have your own sat nav
