Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a qualified Multi-Drop Category 2 Delivery Driver (HGV2) for Fareham & Gosport. The role requires a clean licence, CPC, tachograph card, and at least 1 year of HGV experience. You will perform multi-drop deliveries and maintain paperwork with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Hours are 6:30am to finish, with overtime and a 12-week temp-to-perm contract available. Immediate start offered, and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Clean Licence with no more than 6 points on your licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card held and valid.
• HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 Licence required.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV driver experience.
• Experience with pallet networks preferred.
• Own HGV sat nav is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 vehicles.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries (4-8 drops).
• Handle and deliver goods securely.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service on delivery.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Work efficiently to meet delivery timeframes.
• Assist with heavy lifting when required.
• Maintain communication with operations and customers.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
