Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, Class 2) for Fareham. This temp-to-perm position offers progression to a permanent £33k salary and regular weekly pay.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries, palletised goods handling, vehicle checks, and compliant paperwork while maintaining safety and customer service standards. Overtime is available, with an immediate start option.

Qualifications

• Clean licence with no more than 3 points.
• HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 licence required.
• At least 6 months experience as an HGV driver is essential.
• Basic DBS required (less than 6 months old).
• 5 year work history is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 within pallet network and complete multi-drop deliveries.
• Handle and deliver palletised goods with secure transport.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations during operations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.

The Job- Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, Class 2)

• * Safely drive and operate HGV2 / LGV2 / Class 2 vehicles within the pallet network

• * Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods when required
• * Maintain good communication with the operations team and customers
