Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Pallet Network Category 2 Driver to join our Portsmouth and Chichester operations. You will safely drive HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 vehicles, perform multi-drop deliveries and maintain accurate delivery records.

The role requires a clean licence (≤6 points) and at least 1 year of HGV driving experience, with pallet network know-how preferred. Ongoing/temporary placement with weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• Clean licence with no more than 6 points.
• HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 licence required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as HGV driver required.
• Experience with pallet networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate HGV2/LGV2/Class 2 vehicles within the pallet network.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries.
• Handle and deliver palletised goods, ensuring items are transported securely.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations during operations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Provide excellent customer service on delivery.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Assist with heavy lifting when required.
• Maintain communication with the operations team and customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

• Pay Rate: from GBP17.00-GBP20.91+ per hour (minimum 10 hours) - Paid Weekly

Skills and Experience Required- Pallet Network Category 2 Driver (HGV2, LGV2, CAT C, Class 2)

• HGV2, LGV2, Class 2 Licence (Required)
• At least 1 years' experience as an HGV driver is essential, with a willingness to multi-drop and handle heavy lifting
• Experience with pallet networks
