Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for immediate temporary agency work in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will handle pallets and cages, and contribute to general haulage operations with a flexible schedule.

This role offers immediate starts, a variety of assignments, and the chance of ongoing opportunities within a well-established logistics team. Clean licence and CPC/Tacho are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 2 driving licence (C) with no more than 6 points.
• Valid CPC and Tachograph cards.
• Experience with pallets, cages or general haulage.
• Be able to adapt to varying assignments and shifts.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for palletised and general haulage deliveries.
• Safe loading, transport and unloading of goods.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Adapt to different roles within temporary assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:
