Job summary

South Hampshire College Group is seeking a Professional Trainer in Painting & Decorating to lead apprenticeship delivery, including on-site assessments, training and reviews. You will manage a caseload of learners, plan master classes and online sessions, and deliver guidance to ensure safe, high-quality training.

The role requires visiting learners onsite, developing materials, coordinating with employers, and contributing to QA procedures and open events. A valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of IT tools required.
• Industry experience and knowledge relevant to painting & decorating.
• Awareness of recent curriculum initiatives beneficial.
• Driving licence essential for on-site apprentices visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of apprenticeship on-site and part-time learners.
• Plan and deliver masterclasses and online sessions.
• Provide training and assessment across disciplines to learners.
• Maintain caseload and ensure timely completion within targets.
