Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Painting and Decorating Tutor/Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) to work Centre Based in the UK. The role is permanent, full-time, with a salary up to £40,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

You will teach and assess learners aiming for a vocational qualification in Painting and Decorating, deliver engaging sessions, monitor progress, and embed Maths and English into lessons while supporting progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ in Painting and Decorating.
• Willingness to work toward teaching qualification – PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer
• Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Painting and Decorating.
• Must be IT Literate.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification in Painting and Decorating within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
