Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd are representing a Centre Based Painting and Decorating Tutor position. The role is full-time and permanent, offering a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 NVQ in Painting and Decorating and work toward PTLLS/AET teaching qualification. You will deliver engaging training, assess learners and embed Maths and English into lessons.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3NVQ in Painting and Decorating.
• Willingness to work toward teaching qualification – PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer
• Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Painting and Decorating.
• Must be IT Literate.
• Full UK Driving Licence and use of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification in Painting and Decorating within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners’skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
