Job summary
MD Group is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our property maintenance teams in Bristol. You will carry out painting, decorating and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties, ensuring safety and high-quality finish while delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients.
The role requires a recognised painting and decorating qualification or substantial hands-on experience, along with good health and safety practices and familiarity with mobile job
Qualifications
- Recognised Painting & Decorating qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) or significant time-served experience.
- Proven experience painting, decorating and refurbishment in residential properties.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good health and safety awareness and practices.
- Experience using mobile working technology or job management systems.
Responsibilities
- Carry out painting, decorating and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties.
- Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding and priming.
- Apply finishes: emulsion, gloss, stain, varnish, wallpapering; redecorate after repairs.
- Maintain professional relationships with residents and clients; deliver high quality workmanship.
- Adhere to health and safety, risk assessments and company procedures.
