Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Voids Team in Redhill. This permanent role involves completing painting and decorating work in empty social housing properties, ensuring a high quality finish and readiness for new residents.

The position is full-time (37 hours), with a company van provided and a Basic DBS required. A relevant painting and decorating qualification or strong equivalent experience is required, plus a full UK driving licence.

• Previous social housing, voids or property maintenance experience.
• Excellent preparation and finishing skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Ability to manage a varied workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal painting and decorating within void properties.
• Prepare walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces.
• Carry out wallpapering, painting and minor artex repairs.
• Inspect properties and identify the work and materials required.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high-quality finish.
• Record completed work using a handheld electronic device.
• Work collaboratively with other trades and contractors.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
