Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited in Swindon is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join a busy contractor on void social housing properties. This is a permanent on-the-books role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will carry out maintenance and decorating work across empty properties, work alongside other trades, and report progress to a supervisor. A full UK driving licence is required and a DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Good painting experience.
• Experience with social housing environments.
• NVQ in painting is desirable.
• Reliable, honest and with a good attitude.
• Full UK driving license and DBS check for successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and disrepair work on empty domestic properties.
• Painting and decorating across all aspects.
• Work alongside other trades.
• Report progress to the supervisor.
• Prepare properties for the next tenant.

Painter and Decorator Day to Day:

• Maintenance work/ disrepair on empty domestic properties
• Painting and decorating - all aspects
• Working alongside other trades
• Reporting to the supervisor on progress
• Getting propertiesready for the next tenant

Painter and Decorator Requirements:

• Good painting experience
• Previous experience working within social housing
• NVQ in Painting (desired)
• Good attitude
• Honest and reliable
• Full UK driving license
• DBS will be done for successful candidate
