Job summary

Raven Housing Trust in Redhill is seeking a Painter and Decorator to join the voids team. The role involves carrying out painting and decorating works in empty properties, ensuring service standards are met, and supporting a customer-focused team.

The position offers a 37-hour week, a competitive annual salary of £30,250, and DBS clearance is required. Applicants may be considered for part-time working.

Qualifications

• Suitably qualified or have demonstratable skills and experience in painting and decorating works.
• An excellent understand of health and safety and how it applies to your role.
• The ability to use modern technology and IT
• Ability to cope with a varied workload whilst providing high standards of service.
• A full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of decorating works in empty properties, including wall papering, all types of painting, preparation works, and artexing where required.
• To carry out inspections of properties to determine the extent of the repair or maintenance required, and to carry out the most cost effective, expedient works.
• Carrying out administration work, using the hand held IT device and other technology to record all processes.
• To liaise with customers and all other trades staff and contractors with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
