Qualifications

• Experience as Painter & Decorator / Multi Trader in damp or mould scenarios.
• Experience with social housing maintenance desirable.
• Ability to perform basic electrical repairs (non-qualified).
• Own van and tools are essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• CSCS Card preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and redecorate walls/ceilings affected by damp or mould.
• Carry out minor plaster patch repairs and general multi-trade tasks.
• Perform basic electrical work (sockets, switches, fittings).
• Ensure safe, high-quality workmanship in occupied properties.

Painter & Decorator (Multi Trader) - Damp & Mould Works

Ealing, West London
£22per hour CIS - Ongoing Temporary Work

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator / Multi Trader to carry out damp and mould repair works across social housing properties in Ealing.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and redecorating affected areas, carrying out minor repairs, and completing basic electrical works where required (such as replacing sockets, switches, or light fittings). The work is ongoing, with consistent hours and the opportunity for long-term placements for the right person.

Duties Include:

• Preparing and redecorating walls and ceilings affected by damp or mould

• Carrying out minor plaster patch repairs

• Basic electrical work (sockets, switches, fittings)

• Minor carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required

• Working safely and efficiently in occupied and void properties

• Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator / Multi Trader

• Experience working on damp & mould or social housing maintenance

• Ability to complete basic electrical repairs (non-qualified level)

• Own van and tools - essential

• Full UK driving licence

• CSCS Card preferred but not essential

Rate & Details:

• £22.50 per hour

• Ongoing temporary position

• Monday-Friday, full-time hours

• Immediate start available
