Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator for responsive repairs across social housing in Chiswick. You will handle internal and external painting, surface preparation, and high customer service to residents.

Ideal candidates have experience in social housing or domestic maintenance, can work independently, and are committed to safety and quality. Temporary to permanent opportunity with a company vehicle, fuel card and overtime options.

Qualifications

Painter & Decorator - Property Services

Job Type: Self Employed
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Chiswick
Salary: £20.00 per hour CIS

A Painter & Decorator is required, working for a reputable local contractor in partnership with a local council. The role will involve carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance across social housing properties. Candidates should be capable of completing all aspects of painting and decorating to a high standard whilst delivering excellent customer service to residents. Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is preferable.

Daily responsibilities:

• Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works on occupied properties
• Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping and making good prior to decoration
• Providing a high level of customer service to residents and housing officers
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Requirements of a Painter & Decorator:

• Must have previous social housing, voids or domestic maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
