Job summary

Mott MacDonald offers a 3-year Building Services degree apprenticeship in Cambridge with cross-team exposure to both Building Services and Rail Systems. You’ll study toward a degree while gaining hands-on experience on real projects, rotating through design and delivery stages, and building technical and professional skills with mentor support.

Qualifications

• Interest in engineering and how systems work.
• Enthusiasm for maths, science and problem solving.
• Desire to pursue an apprenticeship with study integrated into work.

Responsibilities

• Support design of building services on projects in Cambridge, Croydon or London.
• Assist with engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation.
• Engage with digital design/BIM tools to support coordinated solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects across disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections.
