Job summary

Hoare Lea in Cambridge is offering a Building Services Apprenticeship. You will contribute to healthcare, hospitality, and residential projects by producing detailed designs and using modelling software. You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team, with mentoring throughout the five-year program and a pathway toward Chartered status.

The role includes ongoing training, study leave for your BSc/BEng, and the chance to work on live projects with industry mentors guiding your development.

Qualifications

• University entry requirements as specified (A levels, T-Level or BTEC).
• Interest in a building services engineering career with maths aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop through mentoring and in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed designs and drawings for building services.
• Use computer modelling software for designs.
• Attend regular meetings with project teams and clients.
• Prepare engineering system designs and write specifications.
• Monitor progress on construction sites.
