Leonardo in the UK offers a 6-month paid MEng placement for final-year Electronics Engineering students at Edinburgh or Newcastle. You will work on real-time avionics sensor projects, gain hands-on experience from day one, and be mentored by experienced engineers.

The programme includes an individual project related to radar or electro-optic products, exposure to modern development processes and ECAD tools, with potential progression to the Graduate Development Programme.

Formación

• Must be in final or penultimate year of an Electronic Engineering (MEng) degree.
• Six-month industrial placement to meet the academic requirement.
• Interest in RF, Microwave, Power Supply, FPGAs or High-Speed Digital Circuitry.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to solving real life engineering problems on state-of-the-art avionics sensor systems.
• Apply academic knowledge to real projects including design, testing and technology support.
• Learn hardware development techniques and use ECAD tools and test equipment under supervision.
• Deliver technical reports and presentations to supervisor and peers.
