Leonardo invites final or penultimate year MEng Electronics Engineering students to join a 6-month paid placement in Edinburgh or Newcastle as Electronics Engineer. You will work on real‑world radar and electro‑optic projects, learn state‑of‑the‑art methods, and be mentored on the development processes.

You will undertake an individual project, experience the product lifecycle, and gain hands‑on design, testing and qualification skills, with days on site to integrate with the team.

Formación

• Final or penultimate year of an MEng Electronics Engineering degree.
• Must have a 6-month industrial placement to meet academic requirements.
• Interest in RF, Microwave, Power Supply, FPGA or High-Speed Digital Circuitry.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to solving real-life engineering problems on avionics sensor systems.
• Develop practical hardware design skills for aerospace applications.
• Apply academic knowledge to design, testing, qualification and technology support.
• Learn ECAD techniques and use test equipment.
• Work under supervision and with the wider engineering community.
• Deliver progress reports and technical presentations.
