Job summary

Momenta Connect is seeking a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to support children and young people in school settings, with some clinic-based and remote opportunities where appropriate. You will assess EHCP-related needs, deliver specialist interventions and help therapy goals become part of everyday life.

Qualifications

• HCPC and RCOT registration required
• Undergraduate or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Paediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settings
• Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, complex or developmental needs
• Specialist CPD, trauma-informed practice or other relevant training

Responsibilities

• Assess children and young people's developmental and learning needs, including those linked to EHCPs
• Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans
• Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life
• Equip key adults with practical strategies, evaluate impact, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
