Job summary

Momenta Connect is seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support children with communication needs in school settings, with some clinic-based and remote opportunities. You’ll assess and plan interventions, work with teachers and families, and contribute to EHCP processes.

The role offers flexible 37.5 hours, 52-week or summer contracts, generous benefits including a £5,000 retention bonus, CPD allowance, admin time, wellbeing support, relocation assistance, and other perks.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience in paediatric, school-based or EHCP-focused settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess children and young people with SEND, autism, developmental language needs, social communication differences, SEMH needs and more complex profiles.
• Plan and deliver evidence-based, individualised interventions, including direct therapy, advice and consultation.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reports and outcome reviews.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, carers, SENCOs and multidisciplinary colleagues to embed communication support throughout the school day.
• Review progress, adapt intervention plans and contribute to joined-up support for children with more complex needs.
