University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Paediatric Anaesthetic Consultant to join a team providing high-quality paediatric care, including neonatal cases, at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The post-holder will work with consultants to deliver excellent clinical governance, teaching, and research while contributing to the on-call rota and multi-disciplinary discussions.

The role emphasizes development of paediatric services, training of junior staff, and collaboration

Qualificações

• The post holder should have training and experience in all areas of Paediatric Anaesthesia and neonatal surgery.
• Be prepared to participate in the Paediatric Anaesthetic on-call rota.
• Commitment to teaching, research, audit and clinical governance.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high clinical standards in the management of paediatric patients.
• Share day-to-day responsibility for patient care with colleagues.
• Promote integrated care and partnership working across the health community.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and perioperative decisions.
• Supervise, appraise and assess junior medical staff.
• Contribute to teaching, research, audits and clinical governance.
