Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust seeks two Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetists to join a friendly and dynamic department. Each post offers 10 PA per week (8.0 DCC + 2.0 SPA) with fixed sub-specialty sessions and annualised flexible sessions across multiple surgical specialties.

The appointees will work autonomously, provide elective and emergency anaesthesia, and participate in on-call across campuses, with the Trust supporting flexible working and professional development.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register: CCT holder or expected within 6 months of interview or CESR holder.
• ALS Provider or equivalent.
• Higher professional qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously in sub-specialty practice and fulfil clinical and non-clinical duties.
• Provide comprehensive elective and emergency paediatric anaesthetic services with Consultant colleagues.
• Contribute to on-call and service development across campuses as required.
