Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Packaging Team Leader in Glasgow to lead a shift team, deliver top‑tier performance on safety, quality, service and cost, and implement continuous improvement initiatives on packaging lines. You will drive 5S practices, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage daily production planning while coaching a 10–20 person team on a fast-paced FMCG site.

Qualifications

• Advanced formal training or further education.
• NEBOSH qualification or willing to complete within 12 months.
• General Certificate in Spirits/Beer Packaging (IBD) or willing to complete within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team to deliver performance across Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
• Maintain health, safety, environment, quality and cost standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive 5S quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage on shop floor; spend ~80% of time on floor operations.
• Sign off production plans and manage day-to-day line activities.
• Coach and develop a multi-disciplinary team of 10–20 people.
