Job summary

Diageo in Leven, Scotland, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Compliance) to support engineering compliance and safety across the Leven Packaging site, coordinating statutory inspections and maintaining SAP-based maintenance plans.

You will work with internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with LOLER, PUWER and DSEAR, building a proactive safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Time-served Mechanical Engineer with manufacturing experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Familiar with LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR and safety legislation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance activities across LOLER, PUWER, Pressure Systems and DSEAR at Leven site.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and ensure remedial actions are completed.
• Maintain statutory maintenance plans within SAP and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on safety and compliance.
