Job summary

HEINEKEN UK is seeking a technically skilled Technician for our packaging and bottling operations in Tadcaster. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising the bottling line to ensure reliable production of popular beers and ciders.

You will diagnose electrical, automation and mechanical faults, lead continuous improvements and work closely with operators to ensure safety, quality and efficiency. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship near completion or formal Mechanical/Electrical qualification (HND/NVQ3).
• Time served as multiskilled engineer (Electrical bias) considered.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing with safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and reactive maintenance on bottling lines.
• Diagnose electrical, automation and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Lead RCA and implement countermeasures including 5S and TPM initiatives.
• Plan maintenance with colleagues to maximise production reliability.
• Support shop floor operators and guide autonomous maintenance tasks.
