Job summary

HEINEKEN UK is seeking an experienced Technician for our packaging and bottling lines in Tadcaster. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance on automated equipment to ensure high availability, safety and quality, while supporting shift teams and driving improvements.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, adherence to TPM principles and close collaboration with maintenance and production colleagues.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• HND/NVQ Level 3 or time served as a multiskilled engineer (electrical bias).
• Experience in highly automated, safety-critical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and reactive maintenance to address defects and downtime.
• Diagnose electrical, automation and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement countermeasures and safety actions.
• Drive TPM initiatives to eliminate losses and promote lean practices.
• Plan maintenance activities with colleagues to maximise reliability.
• Support shop-floor operators and guide tasks to maintain production.
