Job summary

Grace & Stella is seeking a packaging developer with NPD experience to own development of sets, kits and gifting, translating briefs from Commercial and Design into commercially viable products. You will lead packaging projects across a growing portfolio, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure launch readiness.

The role balances customer requirements, manufacturing constraints and commercial performance, and requires collaboration across Commercial, Sourcing, Supply

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in NPD, product development, packaging development or sourcing; beauty, personal care or gifting ideal.
• Technical knowledge of packaging materials, printing, finishes, specifications and processes.
• Exceptional critical path and cross-functional project management; ability to run several live projects independently across channels.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and packaging constraints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical decisions with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging projects from concept to launch against Brand and Commercial briefs, owning the critical path and delivering on time and to spec.
• Collaborate across Commercial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Brand, Design and Regulatory, and with external suppliers to land products.
• Drive target costing, budget control, and commercial feasibility across projects; analyse packaging performance and costs to identify improvements.
• Source new packaging materials and design inspiration; conduct market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Act as the packaging technical reference point for production trials and implementation.
• Support packaging sustainability initiatives, including material reduction and recyclability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working.
